How will you attract applicants?

We specialise in search engine optimisation so we will be able to make sure our site features highly in the search results pages. As over 80% of Internet Users find information via search engines, this is where we, and ultimately you need to be seen!

How does the site work?

Retail applicants will find our website via search engines and other online marketing channels. When they arrive at our home page they will then click on the logo of the retail employer they are interested in and go direct to the retail employers career site and search/apply for jobs direct.

Why should this site work?

Applicants ultimately want to get to their chosen retail employer, which we have made as simple and direct as possible.

Why don't you list jobs?

More and more retail employers are building their own career sites where they already list their jobs. We do not see it to be a worthwhile exercise for either party to duplicate this effort when what you really need are applicants that will apply via your own online application process.

What if we already get too many applicants?

Like any retailer, you will want the best quality retail applicants. Using our online expertise we will show you how we can target various different categories of applicants.

What size are the logo's?

The site is split into 105 'blocks' that are 116x36 pixels. You can buy up to 4 blocks and have a logo any size within the area that you have bought. Logo’s must be provided to us as a Jpeg in an agreed size.

Can I have a smaller logo?

Not at the moment but this may be an option for the future.

What if someone else wants the same block?

Whoever buys the block first keeps it for as long as they have a paid agreement in place. If the agreement expires and you do not want to continue it becomes available on a 'first come'.

Can I move my logo?

Yes, you can move your logo subject to an optional block being available. We may charge a small fee to do this.

Is Retailhomepage a job board?

No, we do not list retail jobs, only retail employers. All applicants are then directed to the retail employers own career site.

Can job boards or recruitment agencies advertise on the site?

No, this site is for retail employers only.

Can you help with specific job types?

Yes, we are adding retail specific industry sectors and disciplines. This helps applicants either find (for example) fashion retailers or, Pharmacists find pharmacy retailers.

Will I be able to monitor how many applicants you send to our career site?

Yes, we will be able to tell you how many applicants have clicked on your logo on a monthly basis.

What if we don't have a career site?

Retailhomepage works best for people who have a career site so we would recommend that you get at least a retail jobs page with an e-mail address. Alternatively we can advise you as necessary.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how long your agreement is for and how many options you buy. However, we expect Retail home page to be up to 75% lower cost than using a retail specific job board yet still attract the same volume/quality of applicants.

Can we have a free trial?

Yes, we offer an initial 1-month free trial with a number of options once you decide to sign-up for a paid agreement of 3-months or more.
